IGNOU MCA Students Forum (IMSF) is not a commercial website. The prime objective of this website is to act as a self-help group for IGNOU MCA Students and to act as a facilitator in student to student and faculty to student communications. This website does not sell anything, nor acts on behalf of anyone else. IMSF is not officially connected with Indira Gandhi National Open University in any way.
The access to the website is free. During the registration process in the Message Board of IMSF, the members are asked to fill up a simple registration form. No information which can identify a person on the basis of gender, caste, religion, nationality, location etc. is mandatory. However, the member may, on his/her discretion and for better communication with other members, provide some additional information. No checking is made in respect of the correctness of the email address provided by the members during registration. However, it is in the interest of the members to provide an active and correct email address where important information regarding the access of the site may be provided from time to time. IMSF adheres to a strong anti-spam policy and the email address is not made available to anyone else.
IMSF being a free website has to source revenue to offset a part of the cost of domain name, server space and other incidental expenses. As a result, this site has opted for third party advertising.
